Notice: identity verification
In shortIdentity document, selfie and registration extract, checked by an automated analysis and then a person. No automated facial recognition, and the documents are deleted as soon as a decision is made.
Why we verify your identity
We pay money to real businesses, run by real people: it is an obligation (fraud prevention, DAC7 tax reporting) and a protection for all workers. Every application is therefore checked before the first paid mission.
What we ask of you
- a photo of your identity document (identity card or residence permit, front and back, or passport);
- a selfie taken in the app;
- a registration extract for your business less than three months old (in France: Kbis extract, SIRENE status notice or RNE extract; elsewhere, the official document that serves the same purpose).
How the application is checked
- Automated analysis. Depending on your country of residence, an artificial intelligence model (Mistral AI, France or Anthropic, United States) reads the documents and checks that they are legible, valid, free of any sign of tampering, that you are of age, that the name matches that of your business and that the extract is recent and concerns the same business. It also checks that the selfie is a real photo taken at the time. It does not compare faces and performs no facial recognition.
- Human review. A member of the team looks at your selfie next to the photo on your identity document and examines the points the analysis could not confirm. The automated analysis may approve an application whose checks are all conclusive; it can never refuse it: a refusal is always decided by a person, who gives you the reason.
What we keep — and what we delete
- The photos of the identity document, the selfie and the registration extract are encrypted, stored separately and excluded from backups.
- They are deleted as soon as the decision is made, whether favourable or not. An application never sent or never decided is deleted after 30 days.
- We keep only what the verification established: surname, first names, date of birth, type and country of the document, date and author of the decision.
