RealityPing
Terms for independent workers
1. Who we are, and what these terms are for
These terms are entered into between [to be completed], a [to be completed], registered with the Trade and Companies Register (RCS) of [to be completed] under number [to be completed], whose registered office is at [to be completed] (hereinafter “RealityPing” or “we”), and you, an independent entrepreneur registered on the RealityPing app (hereinafter “the worker” or “you”).
RealityPing is a platform: customers (businesses, developers and the artificial intelligence agents acting for them) order observations of the real world — checking that a shop is open, reading a sign, photographing a shopfront from the street. We offer these missions to independent workers like you, who accept them freely.
2. You are independent
- You work in your own name, under your business's registration number (the SIREN in France), and you organise your activity as you see fit.
- You freely choose when you are available and which missions you accept. Ignoring or declining a mission has no consequence.
- There are no set hours, no exclusivity and no minimum target. You may work for other customers or platforms.
- Nothing in these terms creates an employment contract or a relationship of subordination.
3. Conditions for accepting paid missions
You may explore the app without any condition. To accept a paid mission, you must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- be registered as an entrepreneur in the country you indicated, with an active number, and send us a registration extract less than three months old (in France: Kbis extract, SIRENE status notice or RNE extract);
- have had your identity verified (see the identity verification notice);
- have provided a bank account for payouts with our payment provider;
- have read the rules of conduct, passed the safety quiz and accepted these terms.
Only one account is allowed per business (registration number). We review every application; we may refuse it, stating the reason, and you may then correct it and submit it again.
4. Missions
4.1 Offer and acceptance
Before you accept it, each mission states the place, what is asked, the deadline and the amount of your pay. By accepting it, you undertake to carry it out within the stated time or to abandon it as early as possible if you cannot.
4.2 Performance
- You observe only what is asked, from a place open to the public.
- You never enter private property without being invited, never pass yourself off as someone else and never do anything illegal to obtain a result.
- Photos are taken at the time of the mission, in the app; no close-up of a face, no readable number plate.
- Your safety comes before the mission: you may leave at any time and report a mission that seems problematic to you, without penalty.

4.3 Validation
The result is checked (automated checks, then by a person if needed). A compliant mission is validated; if something is missing, you may be asked to complete it. A non-compliant mission may be refused: you are told the reason and may challenge the decision from the app.
5. Pay and payouts
- Amount. The amount shown before acceptance is what you receive for a validated mission. It cannot be renegotiated afterwards, either way.
- Availability. Validated pay first shows as “upcoming” during a clearing period (currently 7 days), then becomes “available”.
- Free monthly transfer. You may choose a day of the month (from the 1st to the 28th): on that day, your available balance is transferred to you free of charge. Two free transfers are always at least one month apart; changing the day moves the next transfer without adding one.
- Withdrawal on demand. You may withdraw your available balance at any time. A fee matching the cost of the transfer is then deducted; its amount is shown before you confirm.
- Invoices. You entrust us with issuing your invoices under the self-billing mandate.
- Customer disputes. If a validated mission is later disputed and the dispute is well founded (for example, photos that do not match the place), the corresponding pay may be cancelled or taken back.
6. Your tax and social security obligations
As an independent, you declare your own turnover and pay your own contributions and taxes, under the rules of the country where you are established. The law requires us to send the tax authorities, every year, certain information about the amounts you received through the platform (the European “DAC7” directive and equivalent rules) and to send you a summary of it.
7. Liability and insurance
You are responsible for the way you carry out missions and for any damage you may cause while doing so. We recommend that you hold professional liability insurance. Our liability towards you is limited to the amounts due for validated missions, except in the case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct on our part.
8. Suspension and end of the relationship
- You may close your account at any time; available amounts remain due to you and are transferred to you.
- We may suspend or close an account in the event of a serious breach (fraud, reused photos, endangerment, repeated disregard of the rules), stating the reason. You may challenge this decision and ask for it to be reviewed by a person.
9. Your data
How we process your personal data is described in the privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
Any change gives rise to a new version, which you must accept in the app before accepting new paid missions. We never apply to you a text you have not seen.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the country where you are established. In the event of a disagreement, write to us first at contact@realityping.com: we will look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts are those with jurisdiction over RealityPing's registered office, unless a mandatory rule provides otherwise.
12. Language
These terms and the other documents you accept are presented to you in an official language of the country where your business is registered: that text is the one that binds you. Versions in other languages are provided for information.
